The mall was not usually the place for an Addi sighting. Not because she hated the mall, or because she was against mainstream ways to pass time or whatever, but simply because she rarely had the time to just relax and do normal teenage girl things these days. She was always at work trying to make money so that she could escape this town quickly and easily when she got the chance, and any free days that she got she spent either with friends or working on her music and writing... but today was one of those rare days, where Addi was able to just laze around on her own and try to forget about just about everything.
She stopped in her tracks when she heard her cell phone singing at the bottom of her bag and cursed softly under her breath. Why was it always such a nightmare to locate a phone in a woman’s bag? Men had it easy. They just shoved their phones in their pockets and it never looked weird, but a girl with a giant phone in her jeans was practically taboo. Still, she dug frantically for it, pulling out her wallet, iPod, keys, a small notebook etc. and placing them on the railing next to her that overlooked the bottom floor of the mall. Still not finding the phone, she placed her smoothie on the railing next to her other things and then bent down to kneel on the ground and continue the search – but then she heard the small jingling sound of keys falling, and she cursed again, but this time much louder. Her keys had fallen off the railing and were now sitting on the small ledge that protruded out beneath it, dangerously close to sailing down a whole floor and probably hitting someone in the head.
Addi got to her feet and leaned over the railing, glaring for a long moment at the keys that lay just a few feet out of reach as she tried to figure out the best way to get them back again without falling to her death. Stretching an arm down toward them, she cursed for a third time. She was just a few inches away from being able to reach them... if only she could –... and then it happened. Of course she never meant for it to happen, but that was just the way things went for Addi Alves.
In her attempts to stretch herself to reach the keys, she knocked her smoothie over the edge, and watched in horror as it fell in slow motion toward the bottom floor, splashing all over a tiny boutique stand and a few people that were looking at it. Frozen in shock, she stared helplessly down at the mess, and with a tiny burst of adrenaline, she was able to reach the keys and pull herself back and away from the edge in case someone saw her. “Uhh... heads up?” she called awkwardly down to the people below before turning away.
Scooping the rest of her things back in to her bag and stuffing them down into it as far as they could go, her cell phone completely forgotten, she put her head down and started walking very quickly away – until, typically, she smashed right in to someone walking the opposite direction of her, and her bag and all it’s contents exploded onto the floor.

Living is easy with eyes closed Misunderstanding all you see. Astrid didn't practically like the mall. generally it was full tween brats and Barbie doll look a likes dragging around there mindless boyfriends. Them being there wasn't the real problem it was them walking into her or giving her funny looks that pissed her right off. Though the mall had it's down sides it was always a good place find people to hang round with and being here meant she wasn't at school or at home, so that was always good.
Walking throw the mall Astrid had her hands comfortably resting in the pockets of her leather jacked. She stopped occasionally to look in the shop windows at an item of clothing that caught her eye, but never went in. She didn't have enough money to get any thing at the moment and it was just plain depressing looking at what she couldn't have. Also the fact shop assistance would constantly follow her around to make she didn't steal anything, Astrid really wasn't in the mood for that today.
Going up to the higher level Astrid weaved her way throw the other shoppers. She scanned the passing faces for one that looked slightly familiar, but there was no luck. When she started to give up hope of finding any one, she heard her name. Stopping in her tracks Astrid looked around for the voice, but once again there was no luck. This really wasn't her day. Turning around to start walking again, Astrid went strait into some one else knocking her to the ground. "Ahh, crap" She groaned. This defiantly wasn't her day. TAGGED !! ----- Addi felt quite certain that she was having a heart attack from the shock of the collision. Though running in to things and people was practically an hourly occurrence for the girl, and it seemed as though it should be something she should be used to by now, it never really failed to confuse the hell out of her. There was a whole routine to it – she would first be shocked, then confused, then probably really annoyed, and then she would eventually just laugh at herself and her unfailing klutziness; because, as much as she hated to admit it, Addi Alves was a gigantic klutz. That was the thing that usually got her into trouble the most. Well... that among other things...
Stumbling backwards and blinking furiously, her first reaction was the save the person she had run into from crashing to the floor to their untimely death -- but of course she failed at that, and watched in horror as the girl landed on the ground. When she finally registered who the hell it was that she had so violently bulldozed in her hurry to get away from the mall cops that were probably sending dogs after her by now, her expression twisted into one of sheer amusement, and she held out her hand to the girl, who was probably her oldest friend in the world.
Addi could still remember the endless days she and Astrid had spent together in the shop while their father's worked on cars and listened to the loudest music possible. The two girls got into a whole lot of trouble together since they were old enough to say "Oops!?!" and run away from whatever mess they had created. Together, they were any adults nightmare. And right now... any mall security-guard's nightmare.
“Astrid, you dummy,” she muttered, smirking at her. “Haven’t you learned to stay the hell out of my way yet?”
[ooc:] sorry this is so crappy and short >,< -- i will be better, i promise.

Living is easy with eyes closed Misunderstanding all you see. Remaining still for a few seconds Astrid took the time to feel sorry of her self, and also to compose herself. At this moment in time she just wanted to leap up and scream at who ever the hell had knocked her on her ass. Though with her luck i would probably be some little old lady or hench biker dude. Either way yelling at the individual would probably make things worse. The mall security were hardly part of the we heart Astrid fan club.
Taking a deep breath and opening her eyes she noticed a gesture of good will in the form of a helping and, along with the familiar voice of Addi Alves. Smirking at the familiar face Astrid went back to her original idea just to have a good at the individual that walked into her. "Addi you bitch, you did that on purpose, i just know it." She joked gripping addi's hand to help her stand up once again.
Astrid attended to her appearance before continuing with anything else. She smoothed down her dress that had got ruffled in the incident, and played around with her hair till it rested were it once had. "I try my best to avoid you every day,Adds. You just keep running into me, literally." She teased. "So why may i as." She continued "did you so rudely run into me? And dose it having anything to do with that mall cop and the pissed off looking woman covered in some sort of beverage?" Astrid asked her tone still laid back and mocking as she watched the mall security angry eyes scanning the level of the mall. TAGGED !! Addi CLOTHES !!click NOTES !! CREDITS !! Me

----- Addi was always knocking over things or people... or breaking things... or knocking people into things and then breaking them... but the point is, she just always seemed to have a klutz moment at just the wrong (or right) time, which was usually when an adult or authority figure was present. Because of it, and her never-quenched thirst for mischief, she (although you’d never know it just by a glance at her) had an intensely blemished personal record at Sunset High. The Principal was probably going to do a highland jig when she graduated and moved away.
So the fact that she just smashed into Astrid Valentine didn’t come as much of a shock to her now that she thought about it; and she smirked devilishly at her friend’s first exclamation at the situation. “You’re damn right I did, skank,” she countered without missing a beat, trying hard not to laugh. She contemplated pulling her hand away before the other girl could grip it, but she didn’t have much time for a whole lot of messing around, currently. The mall guards were probably locking and loading their guns because the Alves alarm was likely going off somewhere.
As Astrid righted her clothes, Addi bent down to gather her personal items that had scattered all across the floor, stuffing them back into her bag without caring much how they landed in there. She snorted with laughter at the comment about being avoided, and then glanced over her shoulder at the mall cop a little further down the hall with a smoothie-covered woman who was pointing at her when they were mentioned. She cringed, and then got to her feet quickly.
“What do you think?” she asked, raising her eyebrows and then giving her friend another slight shove to get her moving. “Hurry up – I’m probably still blacklisted from the mall. Fountain thing, remember?” She had probably fallen in the fountain once... or twice. And she was pretty sure this mall cop was the one who always seemed to deal with her. “Act innocent.” She gave Astrid a significant look, and then shook her hand. Looking innocent was probably impossible for the pair. “I mean... look... uh... just don’t make eye contact with them.”
She hurried along the hallway, keeping her head low, and then shot a smile sideways at Astrid. “What are you doing at the mall, anyway? You never come to the mall when I ask you to.”

Living is easy with eyes closed Misunderstanding all you see. Astrid couldn't help chuckle as her friend tried to move her along, but this sight was to funny and the fact Addie has been the cause of it, was even better. Still ignore the not so subtle hit, in the form of a shove, to move. In stead she took out her cell and captured an image of the women covered in smoothie stood next to the determined looking security guard. "Classic." She said to herself putting the phone away in her bag. "Evidence is needed of this hilarious occasion. When i retell the story I will need visual aids." She smiled at Addi.
finally the small brunette began to walk away from the scene of the crime to keep both herself and Addi safe from any hassle. As Addie mentioned th fountain Astrid started to laugh out loud, but quickly covered her mouth with her hand to quite herself, and maintain a low profile. "your definitely still blacklisted for that. You must have a mug shot next to mine in the office, or were ever the cops hang out in there spare time." Astrid didn't like the mall, but she did have some good memories there.
She was about to criticize Addi's use of acting innocent, but she soon realized her own error and corrected herself. Keeping the pace with Addi, Astrid shrugged at her question. "I never come when you ask because normally i don't have a desire to be looked down upon by the Barbie doll shop assistance." She replied "But this is normally were people come to hang out or if their bored, so i though i would look around for some company. unfortunately i only found you." She teased. "why are you here, or did yo just feel like throwing a smoothie on a complete stranger." looked back quickly to see if they had been spotted. TAGGED !! Addi CLOTHES !!click NOTES !! CREDITS !! Me

Addi watched Astrid taking the picture of the smoothie-covered woman and nearly bit her lip off trying to hide her laughter. The fact that she was being photographed and laughed at again seemed to tick the woman off even more, because she started yanking on the mall cop’s sleeve and pointing at them, speaking so fast and so angry that it was probably hard to even understand what she was saying. When the cop started to move toward them with gusto – that was when Addi decided it was time to leave. “You better show that photo to everyone on the planet,” she challenged. It would probably be alright if people figured she’d done it on purpose and not as some klutz-moment...
“I hope so,” she said when the idea of matching mugshots came up. In truth, there were probably mallcops with their faces tattooed on their arms so they always know to kick them out when they spot them roaming the mall, clearly up to no good. The fountain thing was actually a pretty big deal, though. Even her dad pretended to be upset with her for about five minutes... thank god they only had his number on their file. They would call him whenever she did something by accident that people assumed was on purpose – and he would come get her, congratulate her on it, and then give her ten bucks and send her on her way. If her mom even found out the kind of shit she got into outside of home and school... there wouldn’t be enough of her to identify even with dental records. “These guys suck. I swear when I came into the mall today one of them told me to stop whatever it was that I was up to... and then followed me around. He left me alone for two minutes and all that happens... poor bastard’s probably gonna be fired.”
“I have pent up anger, what can I say?” she shrugged. “Must be all those exhaust fumes I’ve inhaled in my lifetime.” That had probably more truth to it than originally intended. “Really... I was just bored. I couldn’t stand my mother for another second, so I thought I’d come here. If I’d known they let such grungy people in here like you I never would have bothered.”
Smirking, she turned a corner and kept walking. So far, so good. They’d be in the clear if they just avoided all of the Addi and Astrid traps set up especially for them around the mall. “How’s life?” she asked casually, suddenly remembering that she hadn’t even greeted her friend properly since practically beating the crap out of her.

Living is easy with eyes closed Misunderstanding all you see. Saving th image into her phone Astrid smiled to herself. "I'll put it on twitter, facebook, myspace and every other social network site out there. It's bound to get around to most people in the world." She accepted the some what impossible task. Astrid started to concentration on were she was going avoiding th eon coming traffic of people. There was no need to draw more attention to themselves.
It was true the mall cops liked to stalk them. Of course it was their jobs, and not the fact they were two young, attractive females. No that would have nothing to do with it. "Yer i should probably feel bad about the people I've probably got fired in the past and those who i may get fired in the future, but really i don't." Astrid had had to many bad experiences with law enforcement to feel bad for them. In her eyes it was just karma.
"Ouch, the mum huh? how is she any way." Astrid didn't care to much. it wasn't like Addi's mum really like Astrid, but the feeling was mutual. Addi's mum just saw Astrid as a bad influence, it was true, but Astrid couldn't help it. "You should come spend some more time at the pier. You know were more fun." She nudged Addi playfully.
At Addi's question Astrid shrugged "Life is good. Same old, same old really." Astrid home life wasn't to exciting. Her mum was a waitress and her dad a mechanic. They worked long hours and Astrid didn't see much of them, she loved her family. "Lilly Rose is sleeping through the night, thank God." A smile lit up her face when she spoke of her little sister. "Other than that nothing." TAGGED !! Addi CLOTHES !!click NOTES !! CREDITS !! Me

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
Addi grinned to herself when Astrid expressed having no guilt whatsoever about getting people fired – not because she particularly found this an amusing idea herself, but because it was totally an ‘Astrid’ thing to say, and that was what amused her. She would never be caught dead saying that her friend was a bad person for some of the things she said or did, because Addi wasn’t exactly a Saint either, but it was that feisty almost-always-negativity that she liked the most about Astrid – it was almost cheesy and lame how entirely accepting they were of each other. Actually... it was cheesy and lame, but anyone who told them so was held down by one of the girls, and punched in the face by the other.
Her expression quickly turned dark as her mother was mentioned in the conversation, and she found herself clenching and raising her jaw proudly, like she always did when she was put off or being stubborn. Addi’s mother did not care for Astrid at all, to be frank and honest; and therein lay another reason why Addi liked to hang out with her. “As if you really care,” Addi dismissed, scoffing in her bitter laugh. “She’s as insane and rude as ever.” Her mother was truly and interesting character; one that Addi felt like would need her own series of psychological studies done on her to even begin to figure out. She was always slinging insults at her only biological daughter like her life depended on it: “Adalia, you’re going to end up just like your father: alone and penniless!” “Adalia, women shouldn’t play the guitar.” “Adalia, IS THAT A FU&%ING TATTOO?” Yadda yadda yadda. Useless, cruel, and mean comments. Before Addi had left to come to the mall today her mother had even suggested that she “put on some more makeup”, which just goes to show that motherly love is a wonderful thing.
“I know,” she groaned. The Pier was so much more fun than Sunset Beach – she seemed to fit in better there, and she had many more friends from that area, too. The trouble was... Addi didn’t look like any of the Pier girls. She only had a few tattoos that were easily covered up, she looked like a total princess, and she didn’t have a cloud of smoke hovering around her like a storm above her head... so even in the Pier she didn’t fit in with everyone. Her personality was that of the Pier – but she looked like a total Beach girl. “When I’m 18, I’m moving out of my house and into the Pier. I don’t care if I have to live in a cardboard box on the streets... as long as you bring me food... and maybe whiskey... and chocolate. And cute boys.”
She watched carefully as Astrid’s demeanour changed when the words ‘Lilly Rose’ came out of her mouth, and even Addi herself felt a bit happier because of them. Astrid’s little baby sister seemed to have calmed her down significantly – something Addi was secretly really grateful for. Years of watching Astrid dig her own grave had been a hard thing for Addi to go through, let alone how difficult it must have been for Astrid herself – and no matter how much or how long Addi stood there, shovelling the dirt back in to Astrid’s self-made grave, Astrid always seemed to be able to dig a bit faster.“Really?! I need to come see her soon,” she sighed contentedly, and then smirked after a moment. “We should take her out to visit all of our exes and scare the hell out of them.” She was joking of course... kind of. She knew Lilly Rose wasn’t a toy... but it would be funny to see all those assholes freaking out.
