Personality: Astrid is a kind, bubbly, sweet girl to those who are the same to her. She always makes a good first impression and tries not to judge people before she meets them.
Things can change though as soon as any one does something to offend her or her friends she will stand up and tell you exactly what she thinks of you. She has a mouth on her and she can let it run. She’s a live in the moment girl so tends not to think about what she says or censer it to stop offending someone. Though she can feel bad after. no one every expect this of her as she is quite small and people always look at her and think she’d need someone to look after her, but she can hold her own.
She can take a joke and laughs alone with everyone else. She can poke fun at herself and knows that’s she's not perfect and doesn’t mind if her friends make sarcastic remark about her, she'll just give exactly the same back. It’s all fun and games, she know every one's personality and hummer so it doesn’t faze her at all. She knows the difference between a sarcastic, funny remark and when someone is just being a mean. Annoying, stupid people get on her nerves. The ones that ask pointless questions a second after you’ve explained it to them, but who doesn’t find them annoying.
Astrid loves being around people. Meeting new people hearing new stories and experiences. She likes to learn things off of different people. Most of her interest and hobbies help her too meet new people. She is a photographer and a singer. She has a great eye and is good at capturing moments as well as having the voice of an angel.
Astrid is one of the biggest flirts around. Be it boy or a girl she will flirt, but don’t get confused people she is only after the boy’s, but she still says things to her girl friends , just as a joke. Astrid never intentionally means to hurt anyone with her flirting as it’s just some ting she dose. It’s a part of her personality, but she has got into a couple of fights when a guys girlfriend gets fed up of her behaviour. The thing is, guys don’t tell her to cool it down because they have a girl friend they seem to go along with it to. It takes two to tango everyone knows that.
She is likes things that are girly like hello kitty, and peep toe heels, but when she wears stuff like that she makes it look less girly girl. She has a way of making things her own. She can get things and just change it up so it’s more her. Astrid is always true to herself. With Astrid all you get is her. She likes to be different and loud, and have fun. Everyone knows it and most people love her for it. Some people do dislike her because she’s different, and at times out spoken, but there will always be haters and there just jealous; she jokes all the time. It’s hard to rain on her parade. If she doesn’t know you she doesn’t care, its only when her friends hurt her she is really bothered by it.
Astrid isn’t out to look for love or Mr Right, but if he came along she wouldn’t be complaining either, she’s just forcing on having fun rather than serious going to last forever relationships. She likes a guy to can take care of her, isn’t scared to defend her, and is crazy and outgoing like her. She could never see herself whit the shy retiring type or the posh snooty spends more time that me in the mirror type of guy. She likes them really and rugged.
In the main she just wants a fun care free time with the close friends she has, were they can hang out, chill out and party. Short history: Astrid was born in Sunset on September 12th and that’s where she’s lived all of her life. Her parents were young newlyweds. Their families objected to their wedding but when they were eighteen and fresh out of high school they got married, moved and brought a new house and a new car. They were in major debt. They had no idea about how to manage their money. All they could come up with was for them both to work night and day to pay for food, electricity, heating and to pay back money they owed. Then they got the not so joyful news a year later that Astrid’s mum was pregnant with Astrid. Needless to say she wasn't planed.
They talked about getting an abortion and adoption. They didn't like the idea of abortion so they decided they would give her up for adoption. Astrid’s mum worked for as long as she could while pregnant, but she would get tired and then near the end of her pregnancy she was advised by a doctor for total bed rest. Astrid’s mum agreed. In the beginning she didn't what this baby, she thought it was a mistake. But she knew it sounded wired but she had connected with the baby. She couldn’t give it up of adoption. She told her husband and against his best judgment he agreed to keep the baby and raise it.
A couple of weeks after this decision Astrid's mum went into labour. It was a hard birth. Her mum really wasn’t ready for kids, or marriage. In labour she started to regret all her life decisions. She should have gone to college and got a good job, then got married and had kids. Not like is, not while she was so young with no money, no good job. But at the end when she held Astrid in her arms she knew it was the right decision. She had a beautiful baby girl a loving husband and they were going to work at having a perfect life. Whatever a perfect life was.
Astrid’s mum started back to work again a couple of month after having Astrid. She would leave her with a neighbour. It was hard to fit in family life as well as working to get enough money to support the three of them, but somehow they always managed. Astrid’s mum and dad never wanted to go begging to their families for financial help so this spared them on to work hard and find their own means. Astrid never saw much of her parents, but when she did there was no doubt in her mind that she was loved and she was always a happy child full of life, and unfortunately always suborn independent always wanting to do her own thing.
When she was twelve Astrid stated to fall. She managed to convince her parents she didn’t need to be baby sat by the next door neighbours. She loved them like they were her second family and they got her into her first great love that was music, but she wanted to be free and wanted to grow up way to early. Astrid would sneak out at night and hang around the street with her friends and other older people and then sneak back in without being caught.
Astrid was a social Goddess by thirteen most people in her area knew who she was and though she was so young no one realised how young she was because she acted so much older. She would go to the local parties or just hang out in the local park with her friends drinking. This was also around the time Astrid was arrested for criminal damage and unfortunately she hasn’t been a stranger to the police since.
Astrid is still a wild child, but she’s settled down a little bit from the birth of her little sister Lilly Rose. Ever since she was born she’s had an over powering need to protect her little sister from the world. Astrid has seen some bad things, done some bad things and she wants her sister to stay innocents for a long a possible. She doesn’t want her sister to be like her. Astrid likes her life, and likes having fun but she knows it’s not the best life in the world, it’s just all that she knows and her addictions keep her there
