The setting sun was still worm on her skin as Angie stood with her face directed towards the sun. She closed her eyes as she was bathed in the warmth. These were the things she missed when she was away, the small things. The peace and quite and not the constant noise of traffic and congestion, Being able to stop and enjoy the lovely weather rather than knocked into if you even tried on the streets of New York.
A smile lingered on her lips as she opened the lips of her eye to reveal the park lit by the beautiful orange of the setting summer sun. Soon the peaceful bubble Angie was in was rudely burst by her dog jumping up at her, nearly knocking her over. It was obvious Puck was feeling neglected. Stumbling slightly Angelica laughed and scratched the top of his head before moving him off oh her. "Come on then" She said continuing to walk through the park, Puck walking next to her.
Angie liked this time of day, not to many people were about, and it wasn't to hot. The perfect time to take Puck out for his evening walk. Punk's loud bark broke throw the peace and made Angie jump slightly. She looked down at him, but in that moment ha shot off into chasing something he'd obviously sen in the distance. "Puck!" She shouted chasing after him, but it was useless he was already so far in front of her.

Jax lounged around his house, bored. He wasn't doing the one thing he loved, surfing, because he was too tired. Plus, the sun was already setting, and he loved surfing with the hot sun beating on his back. So, he was left with nothing to do but lay around all day. He'd watched TV, then, he had eaten whatever he could find, which surprisingly wasn't much. He made a mental note to tell his dad that they had to go food shopping. He wondered what he could do, his dad was out working late, and he didn't really feel like calling any friends. Maybe, he could go for a walk. That would be kind of relaxing. He shrugged, ran to his room, pulled on some shorts, a t-shirt and some sneakers, and was out the door in two minutes flat. It was warm out, not too cold, not too hot, but perfect. He took a deep breath of refreshing air and basked in it.
He walked aimlessly for a while, before finding himself at Sunrise Park. He walked along the pathway, with his hands in his pockets, just letting his mind wander. The quiet, relaxed him and he felt like eh could just drift off to sleep. But, the quiet was broken when he heard a dog bark.He could tell that the dog was running in his direction, due to the heavy breathing and the sound of paws on cement. Soon the dog was licking Jaxson to death. Jax loved dogs, so he just laughed and scratched him behind his ears. He wondered where the owner was, the dog had tags and everything. So, he must have an owner.Jax swore he could hear someone coming, possibly the owner, but he couldn't be sure. So, he continued petting the dog until someone showed up to claim him. [[It kind of sucks...sorry. I'll make it pretty later.]]

Angelica started running in the direction her so called 'loyal' dog ran off in. She get in so much trouble if she lost him, Puck was given to her when he was a puppy by her father to keep her company. Her father knew that Angie and her mother didn't get on, and felt guilty for not being around, so he got Puck sort of as a protector and company for when she was little. Only a few years later he was full grow but still on occasions had a mischievous puppy moment.
Angie hated Running, she was a dancer not a cross country sprinter. She even had to hire a personal trainer to get her to work out, other wise she'd much rather sit and read and the only exercise would would get would be the occasions were she got bored and went swimming or when she went to dance classes. Finally she had run far enough to have a visual on Puck and the poor person being licked to death by him.
The brunette carried on running until she reach the guy and dog and came to a stop. "I'm so sorry." She apologise for her runaway dog while catching her breath and clipped the leash to his collar. Standing up she pushed some of her loose dark hair from her face, now that the dog was under control Angie had a change to acknowledge the guy. As her eyes met his face she automatically recognized it. "Oh, Hey" She greeted him like the knew each other, with out thinking. "Thanks for keeping him still till i caught up." she smiled brightly and patted the top of Puck's head.

The dog looked mean, but he was actually pretty nice. All he did was lick and lick, not once did he bite Jax. The dog sure seemed to like attention, maybe his owner wasn't really paying attention to him, so he ran off to Jax. Jaxson chuckled as the dog started pawing at his leg, he scratched him behind his ear and his tongue rolled out. The dog was really enjoying this. A smile crept to Jax's lips as he continued petting the dog. He wished that he could have a dog, but he just didn't have any time to take care of one. Jax started to wonder again, if the owner would come, and as if on cue, someone came. She looked to be about his age, she was out of breath. She was probably running around the whole park looking for him. "It's okay." Jax replied easily, as he continued rubbing the dog behind his ear. He really didn't mind him at all. Jax stood up and dusted his jeans off as he did so. She seemed to recognize him, he could tell, just by the sound of her voice. "Hey," he greeted back, just as she did. He wasn't sure if he knew her or not. Maybe, he'd seen her around school or something. "Oh, it's no problem. He's a cool dog," He said with a smile.
He got a really good look at her face, and squinted his eyes a little. She actually did look kind of familiar, her eyes, were so blue. He'd never seen someone with those same eyes, and that's what made her look so familiar. Hmm, maybe it's....no, it couldn't be, He thought to himself. "I'm sorry, but do I know you?" He asked curiously, just to make sure that it was who he really thought she was. It didn't seem possible, but he'd only seen those pair of eyes a few times before and it had to have been another girl, or had it?

Angie smiled down at Puck when Jax, said he was a cool dog. "Yeah he is. Though he dose have his annoying moments, but i tend to forget them with he looks up at me with those big innocent eyes and wags his tail." She said patting his side. Angie was just glad he was safe a well. The silly thing was going to get himself lost one day. Puck was probably just excited to be home, back in the park he was used to from being a pup.
Angie paused for a moment thinking how she could answer Jax's question, they didn't exactly know each other. Angelica probably noticed him more than he noticed her. No one ever particular noticed her. "Kind of, i guess." a slight nerves smile smile crossed her face for a second. "I'm Angelica, Angie." She corrected herself, remembering that she wasn't introducing herself to one of her parents friends. "Angie Forbes Montgomery" She finished her name off. "I think we went to school together freshmen year."
Weird thing about being back was Angie would recognize most people, but they didn't recognize her. She was good with faces, she spent most of her life on the outskirts looking in, so she had a good memory for face.

Jax smiled down at said dog as she talked about him. It was obvious how much she cared for him and how much she loved him, even if he was annoying at times. He wished that he could have a dog, it would be pretty awesome. He could teach him a bunch of tricks and stuff, like teaching him to skateboard. Jax smiled at that thought, it would be pretty awesome.
Jax shook his head, and turned his attention back to her. She seemed to be thinking of how to explain to him how they knew each other. He was actually starting to believe that it was actually her, she was too pretty to be so genuine. She total opposite of most of the girls at his school, while they were hot and snobby, she was hot and nice. He smiled at that, he was glad to be able to be talking to a girl like that.
Jax smiled encouragingly at her nervous smile, and when she said that she was Angie, he felt the urge to slp himself on the forehead. But, he controlled himself and smiled widely, of course it was her. He definetley remembered her, he'd helped her out a little in Freshmen year. "Yeah, I remember you....Wow, I haven't seen you in a while, how've you been?" He asked curiously, with a small smile. He hadn't seen her since ninth grade, and weel, he was excited to see her again, and curious to see how she was doing.

Angie was surprised when Jax sad he remembered her. "You remember me?" She said in a slightly timid way. "Sorry I'm not used to that. No one used to remember me, or notice me." People would just walk into her in the hall on there way to class and when teachers would put her into pairs with some one else her assigned partner always looked confused when her name was read out with their. It would always be the same look, one that said 'who the hell id that' all over their face. Then when she wanted to go unnoticed, at lunch or in her free time as always become visible to those looking to make a joke at her expense.
A smile grew on her face when he asked how she'd been. "Yer I've been good. I moved to New York after freshmen year, i lived with my dad for a while." She'd got up to more in New York, but she didn't want to spread the news of her surgery, though it was very obvious she'd changed a lot. She'd told some of her close friends, but it was hardly something you brought up in a random conversation to some one you didn't know that well. "I've just got back into town." She explained.
"So how about you?" She returned the question. "It was Jaxson, right?" She prayed to God it was, she might die of embarrassment if she'd got his name wrong. After all it had been a while and neither of them looked the same as they had a year ago. They had both gotten older, matured.
