However, whilst he can be a manipulative idiot, Ashton knows exactly who he is, what he can be like and is one of the few people who would ever admit that

When Ashton was twelve his mother moved from Scotland to marry a wealthy American. Not to gain money, her family were already upper class, but rather to escape the boring landscape and to a warmer country.
They now play happy families, however Ashton doesn't always do a brilliant job of hiding his great resentment for his new father.
